Antique Victorian Cast Iron Hall Tree

Antique Victorian Cast Iron Hall Tree. This Victorian "Hall tree" is made from solid cast iron and dates from the late 19th century in America. The casting is quite good obviously done by a very skilled American Victorian period foundry. Victorian cast iron hall trees are difficult to acquire we have only had three in 30 years of selling fine antiques. This hall tree is in excellent condition with one small piece off the umbrella tray on the base. Repainted several years ago in white. This cast iron hall tree measures 75 inches high overall is 26 and one half inches wide. The overall depth is 12 inches.

Rare. Antique Cast Iron Coffee Grinder with Original Paint. Originally in the Country Store in Lyme, CT. The owners even have an old picture of it in use. See Antique Coffee Grinders, Schiffer, on page 225 and the back cover for similar examples. One of the pictures shows hand painted people along the top. This antique Enterprise Manufacturing Grinding Wheel measures 59 and three quarter inches high overall. The wheels are 31 inches in diameter and the base measures 26 and one half inches by 24 and three quarter inches.The only one we've ever had in 30 years. This would make the ultimate gift for any antique country store memorabilia collector.
